Abstract
Two plasmids designated pOB1 and pOB2 isolated from S. faecalis strain 5952 had MW of .apprx. 46 .times. 106 and 28 .times. 108, respectively. Plasmid pOB1 determined hemolytic activity and was transmissible, but pOB2 appeared to determine a bacteriocin that is specifically inhibitory to S. faecalis strains harboring the 26-Mdalton plasmid pAM539.This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
