Abstract
The principal cause of extensive calcification of the myocardium is coronary thrombosis. This may be diagnosed roentgenologically, care being taken to exclude calcification of the pericardium. A case with necropsy illustrating this is described. A circular area of the wall of the left ventricle about 8 cm. in diam. was calcified. Keywords
