Abstract
Predictable change in neuronal connectivity can be induced in the buccal ganglia of adult Helisoma snails when neuritic growth is evoked by axotomy. Both transient and stable novel electrical connections are established between identified neurons. The breaking of inappropriate, normally transient connections is contingent on the formation of an appropriate connection. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
