Abstract
Although new endogenous mediators of inflammatory and immune responses are reported almost on a monthly basis, the cytokines IL-1, TNF, and IL-6 have emerged as the primary regulators of local inflammation in man. In this paper, uveitogenic and other properties of these particular cytokines are discussed and attention is payed to the possible involvement of a cytokine-network in the development of uveitis. Keywords
