Abstract
The discoloration of the uterus descr. by Martin & Moore in vit. E-deficient rats was confirmed. This discoloration was caused by the deposition of a pigment in the muscle layers associated with degeneration of the muscle. Prolonged vit. E deficiency caused fibrosis of the uterine muscle; a certain number of the animals developed fibromyomata of the uterus. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
