Abstract
The linked-cluster many-body perturbation theory is applied to the study of the one- and two-electron contributions to the magnetic contact, dipolar, and orbital hyperfine interaction in the state of the and ions. The relative importance of one- and two-electron contributions to the various hyperfine constants are discussed, and comparisons are made between our theoretical results and recent experimental data obtained both by beam-foil spectroscopy and by radio-frequency resonance techniques utilizing electron-impact excitation.
