Abstract
There has been a confusing variety of brief assessments for the elderly published over the last 15 years. This article attempts to identify some applications of this type of procedure in occupational therapy. The relative merits of a representative sample of assessments are then discussed. For reasons of space no procedures are reproduced here in full, although the content of 10 of those mentioned is summarized in a table. Keywords
