Leaf Temperatures of Cotton Plants with Phymatotrichum Root Rot

Abstract
Wilted leaves from diseased plants were as much as 6.5[degree] F. warmer than air temp.; leaves from normal plants were usually cooler. Measurements with mercury thermometers and thermocouples showed that in July and in Sept. [1930] leaves from diseased plants averaged about 3[degree] warmer than leaves from normal plants.
