Abstract
A method for typing species of Aeromonas by 35 S-labelling and sodium-dodecyl sulphate polyacrylamide-gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) of total soluble proteins is described. Radiolabelled-protein profiles from different strains were compared by use of the Dice coefficient. Typability was 100% and discrimination of pairs of differing strains was satisfactory with acceptable reproducibility. The results also yielded information on subgroups of phenotypic species. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
