Abstract
The asymmetrical DC electrical conductivity (macroscopic and also nanoscopic) through Langmuir-Blodgett multilayers, and even a monolayer, of γ-(n-hexadecyl)quinolinum tricyanoquinodimethanide, C16H33Q-3CNQ (1) is due to rectification of electrical current by a molecule. Keywords
