Abstract
General equations are derived to predict product distribution and number‐average molecular weight of consecutive competitive second‐order reactions, where rates of propagation are different for the m first reaction steps and become identical for all subsequent reactions. The equations have been applied to experimental results obtained for the propylene oxide—water reaction. Keywords
