Abstract
Experimental dipole moments and molar Kerr constants for the 2-, 3-, and 4-formyl-, acetyl-, and -benzoylpyridines as solutes in cyclohexane at 25° are reported and analysed to provide information concerning the preffered conformations of these molecules.
