Abstract
Lymphocytes from patients with lung cancer have lower adenosine deaminase activity and higher purine nucleoside phosphorylase activity than those from healthy subjects. These 2 enzyme activities tend to change inversely. Changes in the activities might be due to changes in subpopulations of lymphocytes. This possibility was briefly discussed.
