Abstract
Thirty-eight samples of necrotic skin and muscle were obtained from 19 patients undergoing excision of decubitus ulcers after intramuscular injection of either gentamicin or cefazolin. Cefazolin was not detected in any of 21 specimens analyzed, while gentamicin concentrations exceeded 4·0 μ/g in 47%.Keywords
