A note on the bootstrap procedure for testing linear hypotheses

Abstract
In this note, BUNKE and RIEMER'S [3] empirical investigation of the bootstrap for testing linear hypotheses is reviewed. It is shown that the formal bootstrap procedure investigated by them, which performed rather poorly, can be modified to give a better approximation of the test statistic's exact sampling distribution, This is then substantiated by comparing Edge worth expansions
