Congenital Atresia of the Colon

Abstract
Survival of infants with congenital atresia of the colon is dependent upon early diagnosis and treatment of the entity, as well as upon the surgical technics involved. With the help of roentgen procedures, particularly the barium enema study in low obstruction, an early definitive diagnosis can be made. Two cases of successfully treated congenital colonic atresia are added to the 38 previously reported.
