Abstract
A description is given of experience gained in operation of the Wisconsin electrostatic generator with particular reference to the use of C and C and to the problem of the fire hazard. Improvements in the charging belt system and the accelerating tube are discussed; and generator equipment, including the generating voltmeter, the voltage stabilizer and the ion source, is described.
