Capillary electrophoresis in the determination of pollutants

Abstract
The applications of capillary electrophoresis to the analysis of environmental pollutants have been carefully revised from the literature compiled in the Current Contents and focused on the description of methods developed since 1994. The literature is reported according to the pollutant type. Groups of compunds which have received much attention include phenols, polynuclear hydrocarbons, amines, carbonyl compounds, surfactants, dyes and inorganic pollutants. Easy‐to‐read table provides useful information about the state‐of‐the‐art and possibilities offered by capillary electrophoresis (CE) in environmental analysis.
