Abstract
Object recognition, robotic vision, occluding noiseremoval or photograph design require the ability to performdisocclusion. We call disocclusion the recoveryof hidden parts of objects in a digital image by interpolationfrom the vicinity of the occluded area. It isshown in this paper how disocclusion can be performedby means of level lines structure, which offers a reliable, complete and contrast-invariant representationof image, in contrast to edges. Level lines based disocclusionyields ...Keywords
