Abstract
A family of rigid tetrahedral molecules based on tetraphenylmethane has been synthesized. The primary preparative chemistry involved Suzuki coupling. Reactions typically proceeded in good yields providing synthetic entry to tetrahedral building blocks for molecular engineering of architecturally regular macromolecular systems. Keywords
