Abstract
A male specimen of Dirofilaria (Nochliella) repens has been recovered from the skin of the right upper arm of a patient from Colombo, Ceylon who manifested signs and symptoms of bancroftian filariasis and had microfilariae in his peripheral blood. This is the second case of Dirofilaria infection reported from man in Ceylon.Keywords
