Abstract
Application to corn pollen of procedures in use for the extraction and assay (capon comb) of the known chemical types of animal androgen gave only inactive prepns. The extraction procedure included heating with aqueous BaCl2 soln. which liberates the free androgens from the inactive conjugates found in human urine.Keywords
