USE OF GLASS MICRO-BEADS IN ECOLOGICAL EXPERIMENTS WITH BACTERIOPHAGIC NEMATODES

Abstract
A system that uses microbeads for the culture of bacteriophagic nematodes is described. Glass-bead culture was found to simulate a soil microcosm more closely than did agar culture in terms of CO2 production, number of nematodes produced and nematode size.Keywords
