Abstract
In a paper presented to the Society in May of last year, mention was made of a current-meter used on the Boston Water Works, and a brief statement was given of the results of some experiments made to test its accuracy. This meter was designed, and the experiments were made, under the supervision of Mr. A. Fteley, M. Am. Soc. C. E., Resident Engineer in charge of the works. As an incidental feature of the current-meter experiments, observations were made, which showed the distribution of velocities at different points in the cross-section of the Sudbury Conduit. Keywords
