Abstract
Thirty-two specimens have been recorded in American waters between Valdez, Alaska, and Ballenas Bay, Mexico. For only one known-sex adult are measurements available; a California female weighing 209 lbs. and measuring 1830 mm. from snout to base of tail notch. Sardines and squids were found in the stomachs of 2 dolphins. From the evidence of 3 specimens, mating probably takes place in summer and the young is born in the following spring or summer.
