Abstract
Petri-dish cultures of Rhizoctonia hiemalis Saksena and Vaartaja produced apothecia when covered with soil and incubated out-of-doors. Comparison of ascospore isolates with parent cultures confirmed that the apothecia were perfect fructifications of Rhiemalis. Apothecia were identified as Trichophaea, likely close to, or a variant of, Tbullata Kanouse. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
