Abstract
An algorithm is proposed to restore the deenergized loads in a distribution system quickly by using sectionalizing switches. The computational burden and the accuracy of the algorithm is improved by using the dual effective gradient method. Test results on a practical system are given to demonstrate that the algorithm can be used in actual, large-scale urban distribution system applications.<>Keywords
