Abstract
The coefficient of self‐diffusion of liquid sodium at 127°C has been determined from data generated by a molecular dynamics study of a system of 686 atoms interacting through the potential derived by Shyu, Singwi, and Tosi. From the linear portion of the mean square displacement curve for the system, the coefficient of self‐diffusion was found to be 5.87×10−5 cm2/sec.Keywords
