Abstract
A novel 1.5-GHz vector modulator has been developed which has improved performance over conventional circuits. The vector modulator uses vector addition to provide analog amplitude control and 360 degrees of analog phase control of incident signals over an octave bandwidth. This novel vector modulator demonstrates the advantages of broadband operation and small size while providing for virtually infinite phase and amplitude control.<>Keywords
