Abstract
The test-specificity of self-regard was investigated. It was found that, in general, the same terms, or the same areas of self-regard, related more highly on the same, or on two different, esteem tests, while different areas of self-regard related only poorly. It was concluded that esteem is not test-specific but rather represents a more enduring individual evaluative tendency. Keywords
