Abstract
Calculations have been performed to determine the upward going muon flux leaving the earth's surface after having been produced by cosmic-ray neutrinos in the crust. Only neutrinos produced in the earth's atmosphere are considered. Rates of the order of one per 100 sq m/day might be expected if an intermediate boson exists and has a mass less than 2 BeV.Keywords
