Some semiconductive and thermoelectret properties of a bi-modified pzt ferroelectric ceramic

Abstract
The relationship between the thermoelectret and ferroelectric polarization of a PZT composition modified by 1.5 mole percent of Bi was investigated. A homocharge was shown to appear when the ferroelectric ceramic was polarized at room temperature while the process of polarization above the Curie temperature produced a heterocharge. A 3°C increase in the Curie temperature produced a heterocharge. A polarization was obtained due to the electric fields produced by the thermoelectret properties.
