Abstract
Control of the coupling selectivity (regioselectivity) in the horseradish peroxidase-catalyzed oxidative polymerization of 4-substituted phenols has been achieved by changing the hydrophobic parameters of the monomer substituent and organic solvent (π and logP, respectively), yielding soluble polyphenols with a different ratio of phenylene/oxyphenylene units. This publication has 22 references indexed in Scilit:
