Abstract
A modified Mariotte bottle is used for the nutrient delivery system of the chemostat (a device for the continuous culture of bacteria in growth phase), permitting simple control and maintenance, and is well suited for long-range studies. A 2d modification is descr. which is completely independent of atmospheric temp. and pressure changes. Keywords
