Charge-Density Fluctuations in Spectral Line Broadening

Abstract
A method for describing the spectral line shapes for radiating atoms immersed in a plasma is developed without neglecting ion-electron interaction and without the static-ion assumption. Both the line center and the wings are investigated, and connection with previous work in these regions is made.Keywords
