Sex Differences in Response to Short-Term Sensory Deprivation and Isolation

Abstract
As part of a larger study of the effects of expectancy on short-term sensory deprivation, the performance of 19 males and 17 females, undergoing 2 hr. of sensory deprivation, was compared on three behavioral measures: Isolation Disturbance, Time Disturbance, and Imagery Disturbance. No significant differences were found between the sexes on any measure.
