Abstract
Studies were carried out to test the hypothesis that a disturbance in proline or hydroxyproline metabolism, or both, is associated with defective collagen formation in osteogenesis imperfecta, a generalized disorder of connective tissue. Oral tolerance for proline in affected patients was lower than in comparable controls. Keywords
