Surface films of vitamin E concentrates

Abstract
The data derived from a study of surface films of an oil concentrate rich in vitamin E und a crystalline substance, M.P. 190[degree] (from acetate M.P. 236[degree], from E-active fractions 3 and 4), indicate that both substances have condensed polycyclic structures. The possible identity of the crystalline substance with [beta]-amyrin is discussed.
