Abstract
A case of refractory hypotension following propranolol overdose is reported. Management included isoprenaline, glucagon and extracorporeal circulatory support using femoral vein-femoral artery bypass. The unreliability of neurological observations, especially unreactive pupils, in the presence of drug overdose is reiterated. Keywords
