Abstract
Preview In a brief editorial note in the May 1982 issue of Postgraduate Medicine, we called attention to acyclovir, which had just been introduced and which gave promise of being an effective antiviral agent We indicated at that time our intention to publish a definitive article concerning its use as soon as clinical experience warranted. Dr Bonnie Bean has had extensive experience with the use of this new drug, and she shares her experience with us in this timely article. Keywords
