Abstract
The immunocompetency of lymphoid cells from Marek's disease lymphomas was investigated by testing their ability to mount a graft‐versus‐host reaction in chick embryos, and to produce haemolysins after immunization of the donors with sheep erythrocytes. The results suggested that the lymphomas are complex in origin, containing lymphoid cells derived from both the thymus‐ and bursa‐dependent lymphoid systems. Keywords
