Abstract
A simple method is described for setting up the node (or mesh) equations for vacuum tube and transistor circuits. The method is based on the use of admittance (or impedance) coefficients tables for the vacuum tube and the transistor. It does not involve the replacement of the vacuum tube and the transistor by their equivalent circuits, and hence does not require a redrawing of the circuit diagram. With the aid of the tables, the node (or mesh) equations are set up directly from inspection of the circuit diagram and without the use of any intermediate steps.Keywords
