Abstract
It has been shown that the strain/time behaviour following small stress decreases during steady-state creep of copper, α-brass and a two-phase copper-cobalt alloy cannot be accounted for in terms of a subgrain size dependence of creep but merely reflects the limited extent of recovery after a stress reduction. Keywords
