Abstract
The output of seven laser-diode arrays, combined by a bundle of seven optical fibers, was used to end pump a Nd:YAG solid-state laser. Under a rated operation of 1 A/diode, maximum TEM00 single-mode output power of 660 mW was obtained with 4.4% total electrical-to-optical conversion efficiency. Keywords
