The use of antigens prepared from adult Fasciola gigantica, Schistosoma mansoni and Schistosoma bovis in the diagnosis of urinary schistosomiasis by the intra-dermal test (IDT)

Abstract
Ten homologous and heterologous antigens have been prepared from adult F. gigantica, S. mansoni and S. bovis , for the diagnosis of urinary schistosomiasis cases by the intradermal test. Their comparative sensitivity has been tested among control negative and known positive cases previously diagnosed, by the finding of S. haematobium ova in the urine.
