Abstract
The pros and cons of ‘integrating’, often obscured by discussion that confuses what is actually happening in practice, are discussed in this article which considers the issues relating to the needs of teachers who are involved in meeting the full range of learning difficulties in mainstream classrooms, and highlights the results of a survey of educators’ perspectives based upon their experience. Keywords
