Abstract
Since it is no longer thought that pain is the only sensation experienced on stimulating the (human) dental pulp, earlier results were statistically analyzed to take better account of the various sensations reported, threshold values for these sensations being obtained as well as those for pain. The tolerance levels for the various sensations were also obtained as was the derived value, the pain tolerance ratio. This publication has 17 references indexed in Scilit:
