Abstract
The amino acid structure for the Fc portion of a canine immunoglobulin .mu. chain was determined. The sequence was compared with those of 2 human .mu. chains, and a high degree of interspecies homology was observed. The preservation of primary structure between species is probably reflective of the unique functions associated with the immunoglobulin M class. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
