Abstract
The relative frequencies of ‘bright’, ‘dark’, and ‘neither’ reports were similar for diffuse, as compared to sharp-edged illusory circles and rings, whether viewed directly or peripherally, suggesting in this case a shared source of at least part of their illusory brightness alteration.Keywords
