Abstract
The processing of multi database transactions requiresnot only a powerful non procedural user languageto express a query on several databases but alsothe possibility to specify the execution control of suchqueries. In this paper, we show how transaction controlcan be added to MSQL queries. A minimal set oflanguage primitives is combined with the VPL (ViennaParallel Logic) language so that the dynamic formulationof MSQL queries with explicit control specificationis supported.1...Keywords
